Wednesday at 6:45-8:15, our boot camp instructor kicked our behinds with squats, and lunges and pushups and tricep dips, followed by more squats and lunges and planks and push ups. Also, i have never done so many burpees in my life!
For those who do not know what a burpee is click here.(sometimes we do them with no push ups, if the instructor feels bad for us) Let me tell you that it is an exersice from HELL!!!

Totally hate it but its great! I have noticed major changes to my body. My jeans and work pants are all too big on me! :)
On Thursday morning, the bf and I both woke up at 5 am and hit up the gym for a sweat session. While the bf used the rowing machine and weights, I jumped on the stairmaster and climbed for 30 minutes.
The workout was a little bit tougher than what the picture is showing. I climbed and sweated so much. After the stairmaster, i fell down on my yoga mat and had a serious ab workout, followed by squats, lunges, calf raises and some pushups. I ended the workout by jumping on the treadmill and walking on a high incline.
Thursday after work, I decided to hit up a spin class.

The bf was having ppl over for football, so i wanted to stay out of their hair for a few more hours so I signed up for a 1 hour spin class. I did not realize that the spin class was a weight class with abs and yoga stretches at the end.
I huffed and puffed my way through the spin portion, I ached through the weights and almost cried during the ab portion.
This was a pretty good class, with a great instructor....but it also made my confirm my hatred for spin. I just dont like it. It hurts my wrists and my back, my butt and my lady parts. Its a great workout, but not for me!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great series of workouts girly!! I felt that way about spin at first too -- it seemed liked the weird aches and pains went away after awhile. But I've never heard of a class that had abs included. That would be intense! :)
